16 and 17 weeks and Fall fun

Time seriously needs to slow down!  My baby is longer a newborn.  She has grown out of newborn diapers this week and has started wearing 0-3 mo clothes (even though they are still big and she has lots of room to grow).  She eats a lot and all the time.  She is still a great sleeper and is the best napper on the go.  We are rarely home in the mornings and she seems to just go with flow and nap whenever and wherever.  Her eyes are getting a lighter shade of blue so we know we got another blue eyed baby girl. We love everything about our little sunshine.

Sweet little grins.  She has a very sweet personality already, but she is also a little more demanding than big sister.  She has no problem letting you know when she needs something. She has the best pair of lungs on her and a high pitched cry that can send you into panic mode. I think I have just about got this girl figured out though and can stay one step ahead of her for the time being. 

  I am not as strict with her schedule as I was with Hannah.  It's just impossible to do so when I have to take Hannah to school or we are out all morning running errands.  Our day starts at different times everyday, but I feed her every 3-3.5 hours and always wake her up when it's time to eat. She takes 2- 2 hours nap and 1 1.5 hr nap (if we are home).  If we are out and about she naps here and there in the car or stroller.  She still sleeps swaddled and most of the time doesn't let out a sound at nap or bedtime.  Our days can seem a little off schedule at times, but we always do the same bedtime routine and she has started sleeping most nights from 7-7.  I don't care what she does during the day as long as we all get a good nights sleep.

We went to a Halloween party with our playgroup friends.  Hannah loved wearing her Minnie Mouse costume from last year.  I loved dressing them up.  I could seriously put them in costume every day this month.

We went to the pumpkin patch. We took a whole bunch of pictures on our big camera, but they were deleted on accident while transferring to our computer. These are the few I got with my phone. 

She loved every minute of it. 

I had this idea that I would never dress the girl alike. Well, matching a little doesn't count.  It's way too adorable not to do so :)

15 weeks and Tulsa

We went on a road trip to Tulsa with the girls.  They did great until the last 2 hours. We had to pull over for over an hour to let the girls have a break and help Bailey get content.  It turns out she was sick.  In Tulsa we spent the first couple days confined indoors letting her get better and even took a trip the e.r. It was a little stressful and exhausting to begin with, but we had a great trip. Brian was in a dear friends wedding and everyone got to meet Bailey. We spent most of our days talking with sweet friends and catching up.

It's rare when you have friends whose children feel like your own, especially when you live so far away. I love these kiddos so much!

Brian took us to his college on the way home.  It was a fun stop and the girls loved being there.  He really loved showing us around. He told Hannah that this is where she will go someday, lol.

14 weeks and Day out with Thomas

This girl is really starting to show interest in things around her.  The past couple days we have been getting the biggest smiles from her.  Its funny how we forget all the silly faces and noises that can come out of us just to get one little smile out of her.  It so worth it!  We haven't been able to capture one of the really big ones just yet.  This is as close as we have gotten.
She has started sleeping through the night.  She is still on a 3 hour eating schedule during the day and eats around 3 oz each time.  We put her to bed at 7:00 and then sneak back in at 10:00 for a dream feed.  She doesn't even open her eyes most of the time, but will eat a couple ounces.  She then sleeps soundly until anywhere between 6:30 and 7:30a.m.  I go in and feed her, get the best cuddle time of the day and then she goes back down for her first nap.   She usually only tolerates being a wake 1 hour at a time and then naps 2 hours.  Its perfect.  Hannah wakes up anytime from 8:45-9:30 these days, so its nice to get Bailey fed and settled for nap so I can spend some one on one time with Hannah. 

Hannah is so full of fun and energy nearly every minute of the day.  She is 99% of the time in the best mood and a joy to be around.  We took her to "Day out with Thomas" this past week and she loved it.  She has two big cousins who introduced her to the love of all things trains.  She was also very thrilled that her Nonna and Papa were able to come along and enjoy the fun.

She is still so small to me, but getting so big these days.  She is wearing 2T clothing most of the time.   I cannot believe my baby will be 3 in one month.
