Wedding Dress in a box
I just now after 10 months got my wedding dress cleaned and boxed to be preserved. Im a huge procrastinator. But im so happy to have it done and checked off my list of things to do. Now if I can just find somewhere to put the box and keep it from getting messed up.
The past year in review..
We have been married 10 months 8days. The last year has been so amazing. Below is some highlights since we have been married.

In November Brians grandmother passed away. It was a very sad time. We drove from Tulsa to Ohio for the funeral.
We then decided to take a few extra days and road trip to New york and see sights along the way.

Our honeymoon was in St Lucia. It was amazing and the most beautiful place I have ever been.

Babysitting and Golf
This past weekend my niece and nephew stayed the night with us. We had alot of fun. We played games on the Wii, ordered pizza and watched a movie. The nezt day we took them to church and then went swimming. The kids are crazy fun but very tiring.

Brian loves to play golf and has been playing it more and more lately. The golf clubs he owns he has had for over 10 years. Since we have married he has never bought himself anything. So today we bought him new golf clubs. He was so happy!

We went to the driving range for alittle while yesterday. It was so fun watching him play. He was so intense but at the same time like a little kid. Each ball he hit he would watch intently to see where it landed. Every single ball he did this with. It was so much fun.

life so far...
Im new to this whole blog thing and am really doing this just as a way to journal.
I will be married 10 months tomorrow! I am married to the most wonderful man I can ever imagine and tell myself daily that I do not deserve him. He knows what I need before I even know and loves me in ways I never knew possible. He is the hardest worker I know and so loyal and dedicated to his family, his job, his friends and to me. Daily I am learning what it means to be a wife. To be one that is pleasing to my husband and to the Lord. I am constantly looking for ways to improve and yes...there is always room to grow. But over all I feel like the luckiest girl in the world. Im in love and he loves me!
Last night I made Coq Au Vin and Lemon meringue pie for the first time. The pie was a little runny :( this is my constant mistake when it comes to baking ANYTHING. It just doesnt get thick enough. But Brian loved it (it tasted great, apart me the non thickness), he ate it and had seconds later on in the night. Pretty sad when my goal today is to master thickining a pie middle!
Tonight we are going on a date to celebrate Brian's birthday. It was last Thursday but he had to be out of town for an interview. So we celebrate tonight. Yay!
