22 weeks

Happy St Patricks day!

Hannah has found Sophie the Giraffe. This was a gift at one of our baby showers and I am so glad we have one because  it is quickly becoming something we do not leave the house without. She loves to chew on Sophie's ears and squeeze her to make her squeak. 

We went to Chattanooga for a short getaway and went to the Aquarium. I thought that Hannah would sleep the whole time but she was wide awake looking around watching the fish. We used the baby bjorn carrier so she could face out and enjoy the sights. She seems to really like it. 

My rockstar sleeper! She has been sleeping through the night for awhile now, but I wondered how she would do sleeping in her pack n play at the hotel, especially after being thrown off schedule all day. She slept the entire night and never made a peep. I think this little girl takes after me and loves her sleep!

It was a little chilly up on lookout mountain, but we decided to do a short hike with Hannah. She stayed warm all snuggled up in the ergo. This carrier is amazing for walks, hikes and trips to the grocery store. I am so glad that Hannah likes it. 

21 weeks

My happy girl!  She is always in the best mood, unless she is hungry or tired.  She is full of smiles, squeals of delight, and almost laughter.  Her sweet personality is already showing these days, and we just fall more in love with her every day.  I weighed her on our scale this week, and she is up to 11 lbs!  It's sad to hold up clothes that use to look so big on her, and now they are starting to look way too small for our growing girl.

Hannah at 3 weeks old (4.8 lbs) and almost 5 months old (11 lbs).
She has changed so much!  When I look at this picture, I almost cannot remember her being that tiny. 

Hannah loves playing with toys.  She has been reaching for things more lately and waving her rattles in the air.

My happy girl seems to like her new highchair.  I bought this at the consignment sale last week.  I had planned to skip the highchair and go straight to a booster seat, but with Hannah's size a highchair seemed best.  She is still a little small for it, but it wont be long now before we start introducing solids.  I have a feeling she will go through a big growth spurt then.  She likes to play with toys while sitting up like this.  It's easy for her to reach them, and she likes being close to mommy while I am cooking dinner. 

I am so excited about the Easter season this year!  More so now that we have Hannah.  I am looking forward to teaching her about Jesus and the enormous price he paid for us and how the story did not end there!   

20 weeks

Hannah has become quite the little chatter box this week. She also started to smile and squeal more in response to all the silly things Mommy and Daddy do to get her attention. 

Hannah's current favorite toy from aunt Michelle.  It is perfect for her to grab ahold of and play with.  She also loves her Rabbit rattle. Most of the time she ends up wearing it though.

She was in such a silly mood. Almost giggling at me singing her favorite song (You are my Sunshine).

19 weeks

Hannah loves sucking on her hand, especially these two fingers. She still will not take a pacifier. For now it is adorable, but I hope that it does not become a hard habit to break in the future.
