Halloween fun!

We made a last minute decision to go to Boo at the Zoo.  Hannah got to meet Rapunzel.  We had a lot of fun despite the last day crowds. We went trick or treating, got to pet a kangaroo, and went to the carnival booths.  It is something I think we add to our yearly traditions.

Cuteness overload!

These two make me laugh.  Hannah has been playing her guitar daily.  Even though she is slowly learning how to play it correctly, her concerts are very entertaining.

We went to a Halloween party with some friends from church.  The kids played games and bobbed for apples.  It was so much fun. The rain held off and we did some trick or treating.  This is the first year Hannah was really into it and it was so much fun seeing her excitement.  Almost better than being a kid yourself on Halloween.

I put Bailey in a pumpkin.  I wanted to do this with Hannah, but she was too small for her first Halloween.  Bailey was the perfect size. I lined the inside with a plastic bag and blankets.  She didn't fuss the whole time, but it became apparent pretty quickly that she didn't like it.  

Hannah has picked this outfit to wear everyday for a week.  She is obsessed and calls herself the bumble princess.

20 and 21 weeks

My pretty princess.  She has the biggest smiles, but it is very hard to capture them.  She has started laughing outloud and "talking" to us.  She loves when her Daddy blows bubbles and she will mimic him.  She had been waking up at 4:00 a couple days in a row busted out of the swaddle.  She wouldnt wake up crying, but just being noisy and scooting all over the bed.  We decided it was time to unswaddle her arms and see what happened.  To our suprise she went to sleep without a fight and slept 12 hours again and has since then.    

Hannah is 3!

"The days are long and the years are short".  Someone once told me that and it is so true.  I cant believe my baby girl is already 3 years old!  I could never have imagined the amount of joy this silly girl would bring to our days.  I cannot remember my life before her.  She has stolen not only our hearts, but everyone she meets.  She doesn't know a stranger.  Why God gave such a extrovert to two very introverted people amazes me.  She loves to dress up, play puzzles, read books, Thomas the train, anything princess related, riding bikes, singing 
'let it go" and doing anything to get us to laugh.  She is 95% of the time in the best mood and has the biggest smile.  Seeing her face light up with excitement at new experiences is the best ever.  I am so excited about the upcoming holiday season mostly because seeing it through her eyes will be pure magic.  

We started out Hannah's birthday with her favorite meal.  She was so excited.  We then went to  the zoo, build a bear to let her pick out a new friend, ride the carousel for the first time and then had lunch at the Rainforest cafe.  

My big 3 year old at her checkup.  She weighs 26 pounds (20%) and 35 inches (10%).  She got er figure pricked and her flu shot and didn't shed one tear.

We got her a balance bike.  She hasn't quite figured out to use it yet, but she loved "riding" it.  And its the cutest thing to see her riding it in her Sofia dress. 

18/19 weeks and camping

We went camping in the Smokey Mountains.  It was a rainy when we arrived so we set the tent up quickly and headed into Gatlinburg for dinner.  Hannah loved every minute of sleeping in a tent and having a sleeping bag.  She did so great.  It was Bailey's first time camping.  She slept through the night both nights and seemed to fit right in.

We did a hike up to Laurel Falls.  Bailey fell asleep on the way back.  I can't get enough of those sweet lips and eye lashes. 

Brian carried Hannah part of the way.  She loved walking most of the time, but became a little tired. 

Our 7th anniversary. Brian made breakfast and we had the best day.

Mornings were chilly so we stayed bundled up by the fire.

Bailey napped a couple times outside in the pack and play.  She slept great the entire trip except while in the car.  She is not a fan of being in the carseat for too long.
